From Petrified Trees to ‘The Style Mile’ Glasgow has an enormous wealth of fascinating history, extraordinary characters and exceptional architecture.

Our guide will take to you to the birth place of the city itself, Glasgow Cathedral, which was dedicated by St Mungo in 1136, before exploring Glasgow Green, one if the city’s 26 public parks, where you will see our very own ‘stone circle’ before delving into magic of The Peoples Palace.

Then it’s off to the south side, passing on the way, the haunt of ‘The Glasgow Vampire, to see Heilan Coos in the beautiful surroundings of Pollok Park and Charles Rennie MacIntosh’s “House for an Art Lover”

Back on the road and we again cross the majestic River Clyde, to have lunch in the heart of the vibrant West End, home of Glasgow University and the glass gem that is the Botanical Gardens.

In the afternoon we drop in to see Salvador Dali at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and catch a glimpse of the architecture of the world renowned Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Afternoon tea is taken with Mr Mackintosh in his amazing Willow Tea Rooms before a trip down memory lane in The Panopticon Theatre, Britain’s only surviving Victorian Music Hall, which gave birth to the career of Stan Laurel, Harry Lauder and Cary Grant.

Just time to end our day with a rooftop panoramic view of the city from The Lighthouse gallery.

Then it’s back to your hotel for a well earned rest.

Of course, your guide will happily join you again after dinner for a wee nip in ‘The Pot Still‘ which houses the largest selection of Whisky in the city

The perfect end, to the perfect day, you really will feel you “Belong to Glasgow!”
