EPIC Wanderlust in the Scottish Highlands! - Wow! Where to begin the entire process for our trip was fantastic with Stravaigin. Natalie was great with advice and helping set up our perfect 7-day itinerary which... read more accommodated 7 of all ages (13-62) and different pick up locations. Thank you.
Our guide, Keith, was absolutely fabulous!!! From initial pick up do trip off, he was energized, engaged, knowledgeable, funny no words to describe the thoughtful approach to making our vacation of a lifetime truly memorable. Thank you!! Keith has the gift of entertaining and his character accounts from Outlander made for increased anticipation for the sights, sounds and feelings we experienced on our hourly of a lifetime. The scenery, glens, lochs, ocean, battlefields, castles (no, if you’ve seen one you have NOT seen the all ), 4k year old relics, fairies and folklore abound and Keith made the trip magical. Skye is a must-do for at least 3 days to take in the richness of the isle. I will be back! The West Highland Way is calling. Namaste!

Spectacular Personal Private Tour - We booked an 8-day private tour for 6 people throughout Scotland with Stravaigin Scotland Tours and it was AMAZING! We started in Edinburgh visiting Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Portree,... read more Isle of the Skye, Cairngorms, St. Andrews (and more) and ending in Glasgow. We would highly recommend booking with Stravaigin if you are interested in a beautiful tour with flexibility while seeing the beautiful country of Scotland.
Natalie, tour planner was wonderful to work with. We let her know what types of things we were interested in seeing and doing while in Scotland and she created a wonderful itinerary for us that was flexible as needed. She was prompt in getting back with me when I emailed despite the 5-hour time difference.
Our driver, Andie was absolutely wonderful--personable, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. She gave us suggestions of additional places we may want to see, which were always a wonderful surprise and added so much to the tour. She knew of places that we would not have known even existed. It is obvious how much she loves her country, Scotland. The excitement she showed in sharing that knowledge with her tour group was special.
The bus was spacious and comfortable. There was a refrigerator to keep our drinks cold, which was nice. The hotels that Natalie had reserved for the tour were clean with comfortable beds/pillows, and warm hot showers. Most of the hotels didn't have elevators, so be ready to carry your luggage up a flight or two of stairs. We loved the heated towel bars that the majority of the hotels had.
The next time we are in Scotland, we will definitely use Stravaigin Tours. We would recommend the tour company to family and friends. They are a small company, but from start to finish our 8-day tour was fantastic! Thank you Stravaigin for making our private tour so special!

The perfect way to experience Scotland - Natalie is a jewel of a guide! She made the trip so special and wow, she could drive that 16 passenger van anywhere and it was just amazing watching her... read more back that into any slot for parking. I loved how she flowed with our family and tried her best to get us everywhere we wanted to go and introduced us to many awesome places we would have never known to go to. She was a real trooper with the mechanical issues the van was having and worked hard to get it repaired and limit the disruption in our journey. The whole trip flowed so good and we lucked out with amazing beautiful, sunny weather the whole trip that matched Natalie's sunny personality! Natalie in the office did a great job putting together our itinerary and I loved everywhere we stayed. We even got to spend a night in Foulis Castle, home of the Munro Clan that our family line traces back to. Excellent tour of Foulis as well.
One little hiccup with meals -- There were 13 of us and after we had trouble finding places to eat that would take 13, Natalie, in the office, was on it and got reservations for us before we arrived in the various towns and villages. They were all so responsive and so great to work with.
